Welcome to the inaugural post of our farm’s blog! I’ve been threatening for a number of years to start posting our stories and thoughts, but never knew how to go about it. I’ve started posting to a Facebook group which…somewhat…works, however I will begin the process of "migrating” those prior posts over to this venue.

August has historically been one of the slower times of the year falling between June/July harvests and September planting, but that’s not the case this year. Among other things, we just finished our first Kernza harvest, and now need to figure out how to run the new seed cleaner. So - despite the insanely warm and dry winter we just endured - stay tuned for details on our KWS Serafino rye and Kernza offerings, as well as other regenerative tales and insights. I have a new article on deck regarding perennializing the agronomic enterprise with Kernza and pasture cropping.
